    MetaDefender for Media 2.2 Upcoming Release

    The target date for MD4M 2.2 release is 03/26/2010.

    The following features are scoped for the upcoming release:
    • Ability to clean/quarantine files
    • Ability to store scan log to a file
    • Ability to identify password protected archive files
    • Treat files that are not accessible (such as read protected files), separately from clean files
    • Ability to perform light scanning of specific file types and sizes

    We welcome any feedback, feature suggestions and comments.
